This website is hosted by Host Europe GmbH, c/o Spaces, Gertrudenstraße 30–36, 50667 Cologne, Germany. Website access involves processing connection data required to deliver the page, operate the service securely and investigate errors. This includes your IP address, the time and requested page, and, where transmitted, browser, operating system and referring page. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of this website.

For cPanel hosting, Host Europe specifies a retention period of 14 days for archived Apache access logs. Hosting statistics tools (AWStats and Webalizer) may analyse IP addresses, referring pages, inferred countries and browser information. The provider states that these statistics are retained until deletion. They serve the technical assessment of website operation. See Host Europe’s log retention information. Technical service providers may access these data as part of providing the service.

Cookies and external content

The website code does not set cookies, use browser storage or contain client-side analytics or advertising trackers. Images and fonts are provided without external embeds. Language switching uses ordinary links. This does not affect the hosting-side processing of access data described above.

Email contact

When you contact us by email, we process your email address, message and other voluntarily supplied information to respond to your enquiry. Depending on the subject, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract or performance of a contract) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). Providing the data is voluntary; without the necessary information we may be unable to respond.

We use Google Mail to manage email. Google processes messages and connection data; processing outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States, is possible. See Google’s data transfer frameworks and privacy policy. Merely visiting this website does not cause its code to connect to Google.

Enquiries are retained as needed to handle them, address follow-up questions and establish or defend legal claims, subject to applicable statutory retention obligations.
